Your instructor
Raf Erps
My name is Raf, I'm 24 and I grew up in Sittard. I'm sociable, full of energy, and I enjoy working with people. My previous job put me on the road a lot, so I've seen a wide range of traffic situations first-hand.
Driving and coaching people happen to be the two things I enjoy most, which is exactly why I became a driving instructor. What I like about it is helping someone grow step by step, until they head out on their own with confidence and actually enjoy it.
I work on my own, and that's a deliberate choice. I know exactly what didn't go well last week, so you never have to explain where you left off. And I pick you up wherever suits you: at home, before school or after work.

How I teach
Your pace, not a timetable's
Some people need thirty lessons, others fifty. I won't push anyone towards a test they're not ready for.
Honest about what isn't working yet
You'll hear exactly where you stand from me — even when that means postponing a test.
Calm, also when it goes wrong
Missing a turn is not a disaster. You learn most when you're not afraid to get something wrong.
The car

An easy car to drive.
We drive a manual Volkswagen Golf 7. Easy to learn in: good visibility, not too big, light steering and simple controls. Everything is where you expect it, so you don't waste attention on the car itself.
You'll take your test in the same car you learn in. And because it's a manual, you'll earn a licence without the automatic restriction — you'll be allowed to drive both.
Your test
You'll take your test at the CBR test centre in Urmond, and that's where we drive during lessons too — so you already know the area before you sit the test.
Start with a free trial lesson
Leave your name and number. Raf will get back to you within one working day to arrange a time — no obligation, and it lasts 40 minutes.
